Setting things straight that the NSFW photos that hit the web featuring her are fake, the LSU Tigers player calls out those who created the 'crazy and weird' photos.

AceShowbiz - Angel Reese has become the latest celebrity victim of misuse of technology. The young professional athlete has been left freaked up after several of her nude images hit the Internet, but it quickly became clear that the photos were generated by AI.

The 21-year-old quickly took to social media on Tuesday, March 19 to address the controversy. Not holding herself back, she called out those who created the NSFW photos of her, "creating fake AI pictures of me is crazy and weird AF!"

In a separate post on her X, formerly Twitter, account, the LSU Tigers star explained why it's unlikely that it's her in those racy pictures. "like i know im fine & seem to have an appeal to some but im literally 21 and yall doing this bs when i would neverrrrrr," she claimed.

Angel Reese's Tweets

Angel Reese reacted to her viral nude AI images.

Angel has since received supportive comments following her denial. "Focus on you and lifting up that trophy, let the weirdos be weird fr," one wrote in the replies section of one of her tweets. Another advised her, "Prepare yo mental for it! Focus on your goal! Ignore the Internet."

A third echoed the sentiment as saying, "Be you, learn and grow. F**k the haters! Do great things and don't look back." A fourth fan also told her to ignore the trolls as writing, "It's only bored people sweet Angel, put your eyes on the goal and that's a championship."

"Yesss!! Who does this and why!?!? Also the faux accounts!! What do they get out of this? It's ridiculous!" a fuming fan weighed in. A sixth user advised her, "The things you can't control just know God already took care of that for you. God is faithful. Stay focused and keep your eyes on the prize. 10 toes down!" Someone else similary added, "Just Haters, hating on a Whole different level. Keep Doing what you Doing."

Angel isn't the first celebrity who has fallen victim to AI gone bad. Earlier this year, pornographic AI images of Taylor Swift stirred up the Internet, gaining the attention of SAG-AFTRA and White House. After Swifties voiced their concern on social media, the actors' union and the WH spoke up against the release of the fake explicit photos of the singer/songwriter.

In a statement published via its website back in January, SAG-AFTRA called the images "upsetting, harmful, and deeply concerning." It stated, "The sexually explicit, A.I.-generated images depicting Taylor Swift are upsetting, harmful, and deeply concerning. The development and dissemination of fake images - especially those of a lewd nature - without someone's consent must be made illegal."

"SAG-AFTRA continues to support legislation by Congressman Joe Morelle, the Preventing Deepfakes of Intimate Images Act, to make sure we stop exploitation of this nature from happening again," it continued to read. The union, which fought against the use of AI to replicate an actor's performance during the strike last year, concluded, "We support Taylor, and women everywhere who are the victims of this kind of theft of their privacy and right to autonomy."

Meanwhile, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said of AI-generated nudes of the Grammy winner, "It is alarming." She added, "We are alarmed by the reports of the...circulation of images that you just laid out - of false images to be more exact, and it is alarming."

Karine stressed, "There should be legislation, obviously, to deal with this issue," before imploring, "Congress should take - should take legislative action." She also noted that "lax enforcement" online disproportionately impacts women and girls, "sadly, who are the overwhelming targets -- the overwhelming targets of online harassment, and also abuse."
