Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe are still forbidden from delivering speeches at family events, more than a decade after they drunkenly toasted sister Kim at her nuptials.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian has clarified the circumstances surrounding the "ban" on her and her sister Kourtney Kardashian from giving speeches at family gatherings.

Initially, Kourtney wrote on Instagram that she had "given up giving speeches" after a "drunken speech" at Kim Kardashian's second wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011. However, Khloe has since revealed that they were actually "banned" following the incident.

"This is a true story although she used the word 'gave up'," Khloe wrote on her own Instagram Story. "We were BANNED from speeches ever since that wedding. It was not pretty for either one of us."

Khloe clarified that, despite the ban, she believes the audience enjoyed their speech. "I'm sure mostly every person in attendance enjoyed our speech that evening," she wrote. "I vote to bring back Kourt and Kokes speeches back! Who's with me?"

Khloe had previously discussed the ban on her speech privileges during an appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in 2014. She explained that she was not allowed to speak at Kim's third wedding to Kanye West in 2014, and that West even joked about the ban in his own speech.

"Kanye was giving his speech and was like, 'Khloe, I know you want the mic,' " Khloe recalled. "It was, like, one ranter to another ranter, 'I want that mic.' "

The ban stems from an incident at Kim's wedding rehearsal dinner in France, where Khloe admitted to drinking too much. "Everyone just had such a good time at Versailles that they drank too much," Kim said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in 2014. "Khloe drank a little too much the night before and I had to wake her up."

Kim and Humphries separated after just 72 days of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2013. Khloe and Kourtney's speech ban remains in effect to this day, but Khloe is hopeful that it will be lifted in the future.
