The 'Kisses Down Low' songstress is supported by many after refusing to answer questions about her fellow singer and their group during a chat to promote her movie 'Mea Culpa'.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland has dodged questions about Beyonce Knowles and Destiny's Child reunion. The "Kisses Down Low" songstress refused to answer the questions during an interview to promote her upcoming movie titled "Mea Culpa".

In a video circulating via social media on Tuesday, February 20, it could be seen that the 43-year-old singer/actress had a chat with two co-hosts alongside her "Mea Culpa" co-star Trevante Rhodes. During the talk, she received a question from one of the co-hosts about Beyonce's two new country songs.

Kelly was also asked about whether or not the other tracks in Queen Bey's upcoming album titled "Renaissance Act II" will be country based. In response, Kelly declared, "That is her business to talk about, not mine," before winking at the co-host.

The other co-host, who claimed to be a big fan of Destiny's Child, then said, "And I know that you are tired of answering those questions." She went on to voice her excitement for the girl group's reunion before asking a question about it. In return, Kelly pointed out, "Just ask them. I'm here to talk about 'Mea Culpa' and that's what I'm most excited about right now."

After the footage was released via Instagram, many social media users showed their support for Kelly. In the comments section of the post, one in particular wrote, "Stop asking Kelly about Beyonce. Stop asking [Michelle Williams (II)] about Beyonce. Both women have their own projects. These people need to stop playing in their face. I need the media to do better. It's disrespectful. I love Beyonce but these women have their own careers outside of Beyonce."

Similarly, another defended Kelly by writing, "Don't blame her. She's there to promote HER projects so steady asking her bout things that don't concern her has to be irritating. Kelly is a STAR herself and deserves that respect cause don't ask me bout that when I'm here to talk about my stuff." A third criticized the co-hosts, "I mean it is kind of rude to ask about Beyonce while this lady is promoting a whole movieā€¦bad taste on their behalf."

Kelly rose to fame in the late 1990s when she was a member of Destiny's Child. In addition, she has released a number of solo albums, including "Here I Am" and "Talk a Good Game". She also unleashed an R&B hit titled "Motivation" that features Lil Wayne. Aside from making music, she has starred in some movies, including "Fantasy Football" and "The Curse of Bridge Hollow".
