The 'White Chicks' actor comes to the singer's defense after Bethenny Frankel called out the former member of Destiny's Child over her 'diva expectations.'

AceShowbiz - Marlon Wayans has come to Kelly Rowland's defense following reports about her walking off the set of "Today" show. When weighing on the matter, the "White Chicks" actor spoke highly about the former Destiny's Child star.

Making use of Instagram on Sunday, February 18, the 51-year-old shared a picture of the singer and wrote, "Yall stop with these false narratives." He added, "I've worked with @kellyrowland as a Star/producer i will honestly say she was nothing short of AMAZING. Sweet, kind, professional. On time, great energy, impeccable manners and professionalism."

"She was nice to EVERYONE on set. Not one diva moment," the comedian continued. "S**t happens in Hollywood. Get both sides before you castrate anymore legends. Love this woman. Yall stop this BS. This woman was nothing short of a humble loving queen… PERIOD."

Kelly reportedly walked out of the "Today" show because she and her team were unhappy with her dressing room. Thus, Rita Ora was asked to fill in last minute.

While Marlon defended Kelly, Bethenny Frankel slammed the musician over her "diva expectations." She said in a now-deleted TikTok video, "I've co-hosted with [Hoda Kotb] and I've arrived there and the makeup area that you touch up in is often a drop cloth, like, a black drop off... And then your dressing room is the size of a closet and you're trying to fit all your people in the clown car. And you know what? You're so excited. You're so gracious."

Bethenny went on to note, "You're co-hosting on the 'Today' show, an institution in entertainment, a news organization that is not about fancy dressing rooms." The TV personality acknowledged that the makeup area on the morning show "is completely communal" and the food is not that great, but she insisted that it should be "an honor" to be there alongside "Today" host Hoda Kotb. She then concluded, "That was not the moment for diva expectations."
