The 'Magnolia' rapper is almost unrecognizable as he has what looks like war paints on his face while stepping out in Los Angeles reportedly to film a music video.

AceShowbiz - Playboi Carti rarely made headlines these days, but he really knows how to grab attention when he does. The rapper has left people confused over his "weird" look that included a bodysuit and black face paint during one of his recent outings.
The "Magnolia" hitmaker was spotted stepping out in Los Angeles earlier this week. In pictures which circulated online on Tuesday, February 6, he was almost unrecognizable as he painted his face black while rocking the bizarre outfit.
Playboi, whose real name is Jordan Terrell Carter, rocked an unbuttoned black mesh bodysuit worn under a black vest and over cut-off camouflage cargo pants. The pants were apparently too big for him as they loosely hung below his hips, giving a look at his Tom Ford briefs.
From the rear, it looked like the 27-year-old was rocking a thong. He paired his bizarre outfit with black boots. He also accessorized with a black beanie and a necklace. He reportedly donned the unusual outfit to film a music video, but there were no details about the alleged music video he was shooting that day.
Upon seeing the pictures of Playboi in that outfit, many couldn't help voice their opinions on the matter. "We used to be kings! Smh," a shocked fan penned. A disappointed fan declared, "I am officially retired as a playboi carti fan 2016-2024 it was a nice run."
"A thong is very fckn chaotic," a third commented. Someone weighed in, "He a baddie he showin his pantie." A fifth commenter said, "Playboi Carti got the body suit on that snap at the bottom smh." Confused by the choice of outfit, another asked, "Rain boots and a thong cuz ?"
Someone simply exclaimed, "Hollyweird." Another said, "Just saw DRAKE d**k leaked and PLAYBOI CARTI wearing a THONG in a same day .. yeah this really the worst Tuesday of all time in my life," referring to an alleged leaked NSFW video featuring Drake.
"I know Iggy is soooo embarrassed," one other said, bringing up Playboi's past relationship with Iggy Azalea. Some others took issue with Playboi's black face paint, writing comments like "Black history month and he doin this" and "Son, not during Black History Month."
A diehard fan, however, chose to remain loyal to Playboi. "Y'all can NEVER make me hate Playboi Carti. Like fr," they claimed.
Playboi has not explained why he rocked that bizarre ensemble. He is currently gearing up to release a new album, "Music", which was previously rumored to arrive in January. The Atlanta native has released five songs ahead of the release of the album, which is yet to have an exact release date.
