Starring Donald as well as Maya Erskine, 'Mr and Mrs Smith' is a TV reboot on Amazon Prime Video of the 2005 film that starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

AceShowbiz - Donald Glover has learned to "go slow" while filming sex scenes. The actor, 40, said he picked up the lesson while shooting the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" series for Amazon Prime Video alongside 36-year-old "PEN15" star Maya Erskine.

He told Page Six about his biggest advice on shooting sex scenes, "Go slow." Donald, who has sons, Legend, Drake and Donald III with his wife Michelle White, added, "Go slow. I don't even mean in just foreplay. I mean in everything, it will make everything a lot more romantic, and you'll appreciate it a lot more when you get there. You'll really understand it."

"Mr and Mrs Smith" is a reboot of the 2005 film that starred Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie, 48. The movie saw the former couple, who famously fell in love on its set, play married assassins who find out they have been assigned to kill each other.

The Amazon series sees Donald and Maya play two lonely strangers who were separately recruited by the same spy agency, who then agree to ditch their old lives and enter into an arranged marriage. Co-created by Donald, he says the show delves into the subject of loneliness that he said was widespread during Covid.

He added,"I think there is a deep loneliness that everyone felt during the pandemic." Donald said about how the lockdowns gave him time to ponder relationships, "I was like, 'Why do people even get together?' Oh, 'Because life is hard. We need each other.' "

"Mr and Mrs Smith" started streaming on Friday, February 2 and features a host of guest stars, including John Turturro, Alexander Skarsgard and Sharon Horgan.
