AceShowbiz - Amid her feud with Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj stirs another drama. The "Big Foot" raptress landed in hot water after she gave a shoutout to Ben Shapiro and his "anti-woke" song "Facts".
On Thursday, February 1, Nicki wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Wait til they 'wake up' & listen to what Ben Shapiro is saying in #Facts." The Trinidadian star added, "The 'outrage' on this one will be a tad bit delayed."
Immediately, fans blasted Nicki for supporting the controversial right wing politician. A critic wrote in a reply, "The same man who disrespected you and your music for years? The same man who also hates illegal immigrants? You can't be serious nicki, this man stands against your whole being as a black woman who had to come here illegally as a child."
Another added, "Ben Shapiro is MAGA. Make America Great Again is what Ben Shapiro is constantly representing and advocating for. You are simping for him, you are MAGA too. Donald Trump wants all illegal immigrants, such as yourself to be deported to your country of origin. Get deported, Onika!" One other penned, "you're seeking validation from a notorious homophobic racist scumbag. this is a new low for you nicki minaj."
Meanwhile, Ben also made use of his account to praise Nicki. "The Queen of Rap keepin' it trill," so he wrote in one tweet. He also slammed Megan in a separate post, writing, "Hey Megan @theestallion, we're coming for thee," alongside a screenshot of his song arriving at #2 with Megan's "HISS" taking the top spot on Apple Music. "Also, @NICKIMINAJ is correct about your flow," he added in another post.
Nicki's Ben Shapiro endorsement wasn't the only thing that earned her backlash in recent days. Prior to this, the "Barbie World" femcee was slammed only for seemingly comparing Megan and Rihanna's traumas. When joining Twitter Spaces hosted by Joe Budden, Nicki made a statement about the traumas of Megan, whose leg was shot by ex Tory Lanez, and Rihanna, who was left with facial injuries after Chris Brown assaulted her.
"You said she wanted a Rihanna moment, so I wanna know which Rihanna moment?" the host asked. To that, Nicki responded, "Well you know you gonna Google. Here's the thing, Rihanna is just known for being herself. 'You get what you see, you see what you get' type of vibe, right? Rihanna never milked somebody. You could tell she couldn't wait to try to move on with her life."
