While she's open to dating, the 69-year-old supermodel who was previously linked to John Mellencamp and David Foster confesses finding a man is a challenge.

AceShowbiz - Christie Brinkley would love to date but can't find a man. The 69-year-old supermodel - who shares three children, Alexa, 38, Jack, 28, and 25-year-old Sailor from her previous marriages - has been single for several years following brief relationships with John Mellencamp and David Foster and while she welcomes the idea of finding love again, she's found a challenge.

"There just doesn't seem to be anybody out there," she told People magazine.

But Christie isn't too upset as she's comfortable with her life alone and isn't going to settle down with the first guy that comes along. She added, "At the same time. I am pretty comfortable with my life the way it is, so, que sera, sera!"

"I always said my whole life that I think that you have to be happy alone so that you get with a man for the right reasons and you're not clinging to him because you need to, you know?"

Although finding romantic love would be nice, Christie couldn't be happier than spending time with her family and friends. She said, "I think that's kind of just the height of happiness."

Christie keeps busy with various ventures, including her wine brand Bellissima, the upcoming launch of TWRHLL - a lifestyle and apparel brand in collaboration with Xcel Brands Inc - and a partnership with RYZA adaptogenic mushrooms, but she still wants to find the time to travel.

She said, "I still have to see India. I've never been to Tahiti or Thailand. I want to go to Bali also. I've got to do an eat, pray, love."

And of her ambition to take Italian lessons, she added, "I love Italy, and I want to be able to converse better." Through her business ventures, Christie hopes she can give back to those who are less fortunate.

She said, "If TWRHLL becomes very successful, I'd love to be able to do things that very successful people do with their money in terms of giving back. At 70, you kind of say, 'What can I do to help others?' "
