Adult Film Star Jesse Jane Found Dead With Boyfriend in Apparent Overdose

Police discovered the famed adult film actress and her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller deceased at a home on Wednesday, January 24 in Moore, Oklahoma after a welfare check.

AceShowbiz - Jesse Jane has unexpectedly passed away. The well-known porn star from the 2000s was found dead alongside her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller, who also died, in what is suspected to be an overdose.

According to information generated from law enforcement sources by TMZ, police conducted a welfare check on Wednesday, January 24 at a home in Moore, Oklahoma after receiving a call from Brett's employer, who was worried because they hadn't heard from him in a few days. When police arrived at the residence near the Northeast Third Street and Hickory Lane, they found both Jesse and Brett deceased.

It's unclear how long exactly Jesse and Brett might have been dead at the house and an exact cause of death is still unknown at this point, but authorities suspect that their deaths might be drug-related. It's also unclear what leads to police's suspicion that it might be an overdose as an investigation is currently underway and the Medical Examiner will make a final determination on the cause of death.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City's KOCO 5 TV channel reports that police found substances, which have been sent in for lab testing, at the home. No foul play is suspected. Jesse, whose real name was Cindy Howell, was believed to be 43 at the time of her passing.

Jesse began her porn career in 2002 with an exclusive contract with the Digital Playground studio, where she she'd remain through 2014. She went on signing with Jules Jordan video, before announcing her retirement from the industry in 2017. Since then, she made limited porn appearances.

Some of the well-known adult film and adult film series included the "Pirates" flicks. She also appeared as herself in 2003 on Showtime's reality series "Family Business" and in a 2015 episode of HBO's "Entourage". She was interviewed for the 2009 CNBC documentary "Porn: Business of Pleasure". In 2019, she was announced to have had come out of retirement and shot her first interracial scene for Blacked.com.
