AceShowbiz - "The White Lotus" welcomes some new faces in its upcoming season 3. The award-winning series has announced five new cast members, including Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Patrick is no stranger to the TV world. The actor appeared in a recurring role on Amazon Prime's "The Boys" spin-off "Gen V" last year and his other credits include "The Staircase".

In addition to Patrick, season 3 will star newcomers Walter Goggins ("Justified", "The Shield") and Sarah Catherine Hook ("First Kill", "Impeachment: American Crime Story"). They will also be joined by Sam Nivola ("Maestro", "White Noise") and "Sex Education" star Aimee Lou Wood.

Prior to this, HBO announced several newcomers for the upcoming season. Among them are Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Morgana O'Reilly and Parker Posey. Details of their roles, however, are still unknown.

"The White Lotus" cast and crew will be heading to Thailand in February for the new season. Collaborating with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the show will be filming in and around Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok.

"The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex," creator Mike White explained in a December 2022 video. "I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality."

The first season of the anthology series was set in Hawaii and earned the show 20 Emmy nominations and ten wins. The sophomore season, meanwhile, took the viewers to Sicily and successfully received 23 Emmy nominations and five wins.

Of the highly-anticipated new season, Mike also teased that "it's going to be a supersized 'White Lotus'." He added, It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing."
