AceShowbiz - Lil Yachty has responded to rumors surrounding him. On Saturday, December 30, "The Secret Recipe" emcee made use of his X account to comment on accusations that he's unfaithful to his partner, that he's a colorist, and that he fails his duty as a father to his kid.

"Man, yall have to touch some grass.. There was no cheating. I am not a colorist in anyway shape or form," he wrote on the app, which was previously known as Twitter. "I have changed my daughter diaper - it was simply a troll."

He also explained why he never posted anything about his daughter. "I do not post my daughter because i don't owe you people that. Everything isn't meant for social media. Yall be losers," he added.

In a separate tweet, Lil Yachty stressed, "just cause yall post every second of yall life don't mean i have too.. I never cared for any of yall's opinion on my child, that's why you've never seen her. Because it's not for yall 2 see. Tf????" Both tweets have been removed from his page.

The Quality Control rapper welcomed his first daughter in October 2021. He shares the child with New York-based fashion designer Selangie, though they reportedly called it quits in early 2021.

While the emcee tends to stay low-key when it comes to his daughter, he shared a little bit of details about his child and his baby mama in March 2023. "The mother of my child is Dominican and Puerto Rican, so she loves Selena - she plays her a lot," Yachty shared during an interview with Billboard. "[We watch] the Selena movie with Jennifer Lopez a s**t ton and a lot of Disney movie s**t, like '[Frozen (2013)]', '[The Lion King]', and that type of vibe."

Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time Lil Yachty defended himself from critics. Last week, the hip-hop star hit back at trolls who mocked him for his fashion sense. "I be seein some of yall outfits as yall try to judge mine and I be appalled," he said at the time.
