According to arrest records, the 'Super Gremlin' rapper is booked into a county jail in Plantation, FL after he's found asleep behind the wheel of a car parked in the road.

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black has landed in jail again after being found in possession of cocaine. The rapper was booked with several charges, which also included tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and improperly stopping or parking his vehicle, after he was arrested in Florida on Thursday, December 7.

According to local news outlets WSVN in Miami and WTVJ South Florida, the 26-year-old star was arrested by a Plantation Police Department officer. The arrest occurred after officers allegedly saw a black Bentley SUV blocking a roadway around 2:07 A.M. in the 600 block of NW 47th Terrace.

The officers claim the vehicle's window was halfway down when they found the "ZEZE" rapper asleep at the wheel and smelled the strong odor of burnt cannabis omitting from the vehicle. Once awake and confronted by the officers, the Pompano Beach native admitted there was weed in the SUV, but when the officer noticed a Styrofoam cup that reeked of alcohol, one of the officers told Kodak to exit the vehicle.

As Kodak turned his back to the officer and stood in front of the patrol's vehicle's beaming headlights, the officer says he saw white powder falling on the ground next to the rapper. The officer then noticed Kodak's mouth was full of white powder and later observed several white rock-like objects on the ground, which Kodak allegedly said was Percocet.

Field tests conducted by the officers at the scene, however, allege the substance was actually cocaine. Authorities involved in the arrest also claim they found cannabis wrapping paper and residue inside the SUV, a clear plastic bag with a white chunky substance inside Kodak's pocket.

"The powder was visible due to the strong scene lights of my patrol vehicle," the officer wrote in the report. "I reasonable believed Kapri was trying to discard illegal narcotics."

Police also said Kodak's vehicle showed signs of recent damage, indicating it was previously involved in a crash. He appeared before a judge on Thursday afternoon.

Kodak, born Bill Kahan Kapri, has been having problem staying away from trouble with the law. In February of this year, a Florida judge issued an arrest warrant for the hip-hop artist after he failed a court-ordered drug test while awaiting a narcotics trafficking trial. He previously served time in jail for making a false statement to buy a firearm before being pardoned by former President Donald Trump in 2020.
