AceShowbiz - "The Voice" returned for a new episode on Tuesday, December 5. The episode revealed the results of the first Live Show in season 24 where Top 12 artists took the stage to sing in front of coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani.
Host Carson Daly brought the 12 singers to the stage to find out the first set of results. The host revealed that the first 3 artists who were safe and advanced to the next round were Mac Royals from Team John, BIAS from Team Gwen, and Ruby Leigh from Team Reba.
Later, Huntley opened up about the feeling of being validated after joining the show, adding that it made him convinced that he's meant to be on stage. Kara Tenae, meanwhile, gave a shout-out to her parents, who had been supporting her. Carson then announced that joining Mac, BIAS and Ruby in the next round were Mara Justine from Team Niall and Lila Forde from Team John.
Reba then treated everyone to a performance of her new single "Seven Minutes in Heaven". Later, Jordan shared that the most important thing the country music star taught her was to stay curious and driven. Nini Iris expressed her gratitude for being able to be on the show. Meanwhile, the final artists who were saved by America's overnight vote were Team Niall's Huntley and Nini alongside Team Reba's artist Jacquie Roar.
That meant, Team Reba's Jordan Rainer, Team John's AZAN as well as Team Gwen's Tanner Massey and Kara. Jordan opted to sing "Blame It on Your Heart", while AZAN hit the stage to belt out "No Tears Left to Cry". As for Kara, she hoped to impress the coaches with her performance of "Love Takes Time". Tanner, meanwhile, sang "More Than Words".
Only one of the four artists got the final spot in Top 11 and that was Jordan Rainer. AZAN, Tanner and Kara were eliminated.
