AceShowbiz - Draymond Green showed no remorse while addressing the recent incident involving Rudy Gobert. Despite getting a five-game suspension for putting the Minnesota Timberwolves center in a headlock on November 14, the Golden State Warriors player declared that he has no regret about it.

"I don't live my life with regrets," the 33-year-old said after a Sunday, November 26 practice. "I'll come to a teammate's defense any time that I'm in a position to come to a teammate's defense."

"What matters to me is how the people that I care about feel, first and foremost," he added. "How are the people that I care about affected? How are the people I care about, what do they have to deal with? That's it for me."

Draymond went on to note that he doesn't care about the assumptions behind his actions that night. "Things can be interpreted how people want to interpret them," he stressed. "I'm not here to judge people's interpretations or try to change them. They are what they are."

"I know that for me, I am always going to be there for my teammates. That's who I am. That's who I am as a teammate, that's who I am as a friend," he further elaborated. "Right, wrong or indifferent, look to your side and I'll be there -- or even in front of you."

Just less than two minutes into the November 14 game, Draymon's teammate Klay Thompson got tied up with Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels in transition. Klay held Jaden's jersey while he waited for a long rebound. They refused to let go and began to swing each other around and push, resulting in Jaden ripping Klay's jersey and Klay swinging his arm at Jaden.

Other players rushed toward the two, with Rudy wrapping his arms around Klay to pull him off Jaden. That was when Draymond put Rudy in a headlock and pulled him backward for several seconds.
