The member of the Long Beach hip-hop group died on Tuesday, November 7 at age 52 after being hospitalized since mid-October due to complications from diabetes.

AceShowbiz - The Dove Shack is losing one of its members. C-Knight, one of the founding members of the Long Beach-based G-funk collective, has passed away after he was taken off life support following complications from diabetes.

Mourning his death was his groupmate Bo-Roc, who dubbed the news a "nightmare." Seemingly at a loss for words, Bo-Roc posted on Instagram, "This is like f**king nightmare I swear this s**t hurt different and I don't want to talk about s**t to nobody so please just let me be and pray for us..." He emotionally added, "On my soul I love you bro and I already don't know what the f**k to do wit u being gone..."

A family member tells TMZ that C-Knight, whose real name was Arnez Blount, passed away on Tuesday, November 7 after he was hospitalized since mid-October. He was admitted to the hospital on October 18 due to a high blood sugar level, a result of his diabetes.

While getting dialysis at the hospital, he suffered a stroke and went into cardiac arrest. He was resuscitated by doctors and put on life support, but had been in an unresponsive state. Medical staff told the family there were no signs of progress.

Amid the uncertainty regarding C-Knight's condition, Bo-Roc took to his social media page on October 22 to ask for prayers for his groupmate. "I'm literally begging all who see's this post to pray for my brother from another mother and one of my closest friends in the world Arnez a.k.a C Knight from the Dove Shack. He's the founder of the Dove Shack and the reason I had the opportunity to make #summertimeinthelbc for the world so please please send him positive energy and healing prayers," he wrote.

C-Knight's father said that they wanted to wait on the results of a crucial MRI to assess brain activity and remained hopeful at the time. However, they eventually decided to take him off life support, weeks after he was hospitalized. He was 52.

The Dove Shack, which also consisted of 2Scoops, made their debut with the song "This Is the Shack" on Warren G's album "Regulate...G Funk Era". Their other memorable hits include "Summertime in the LBC," "This Is The Shack," and "Smoke Out".
