AceShowbiz - Drake has defended his decision to get pink nails. The "Certified Lover Boy" artist said that "the world is being homophobic" as he's received criticism since debuting his freshly manicured hand.
On Friday, July 7, the four-time Grammy winner shared photos from his recent performance. His rapper friend Lil Yachty then made a quip about his appearance by writing in the comment section, "Boy got them heavy hangers in his ear."
In response, Drake jokingly called out Yachty, "GET OUT MY COMMENTS YOU TOLD ME TO PAINT MY NAILS SO I STOP BITING THEM AND NOW THE WORLD IS BEING HOMOPHOBIC FOR THE 1st TIME SINCE 'RICH FLEX'." He was referring to his hit collab with 21 Savage.
Drake then stressed that he dropped the song not too long ago since it was just released in November 2022. He sighed, "Wait is the world homophobic? Smh."
