The former college basketball player claims in an interview that his family loves his TV personality girlfriend after they met and 'spent some time together during the holiday.'

AceShowbiz - Marcus Jordan's family has no issue with his and Larsa Pippen's romance. Despite his dad Michael Jordan's disapproval, the former college basketball player claimed they met during the holidays and they love the TV personality.

The 32-year-old offered more details on his and Larsa's relationship when speaking with Entertainment Tonight. "Well, we spent some time together during the holidays. She came and visited some of my family, I visited some of her family, so I think that's kinda what, once we realized our families were OK with it, then I feel like that was easier for us," he said.

"My family loves her. They think she's great," the second oldest child of the NBA legend continued. "And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I'm happy, they're happy with, you know, where I'm living."

"Everybody had an opinion at first. I think there was some shock and interest early on, but I think that was the whole point of us trying to spend some family time together during the holidays." he further shared. "At least for me, if we're gonna be in the media, you know, I kind of need to introduce you to my mom and my mom's side and my dad's side. And so, I think that went well and so far, so good."

Marcus noted that he and Larsa already got the stamp of approval from her dad. However, after the couple spoke to the outlet, Michael proved the opposite. He shook his head and said, "No," when asked by paparazzi in Paris whether he approved of the two's relationship.

Larsa is the ex-wife of Michael's former teammate Scottie Pippen. Thus, it's not surprising that some people in Marcus' family were "caught off guard" upon learning of their dating news.

"I don't think there was ever any hurdles, I just think there was some shock value to the fact that we were dating. Caught maybe some people on my side of the family off guard a little bit," Marcus previously explained on "Separation Anxiety With Hosts Larsa Pippen & Marcus Jordan". He added, "I think once people really got to understand and see us together, it made everything a little more comfortable. My parents want to see me happy. Your family wants to see you happy. That's all you could ever ask for."
