AceShowbiz - NeNe Leakes and Nyonisela Sioh have shown that exes can be friends. The reality TV star and her former fiance still hang out together after news broke earlier this month that they had called it quits.
In a video shared by Cynthia Bailey's ex-husband Peter Thomas, NeNe and Nyonisela were seen giggling as they were pressed on their relationship status by the cameraman. "People can be friends," the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star said, while trying to hide her face from the camera.
Nyonisela, who was sitting next to NeNe on a couch, then confirmed, "She's single, I'm single. We're friends." He also declared, "She's back on market."
Jokingly trolling the former couple, the relentless cameraman, who seemed to be Peter himself, said to NeNe and Nyonisela, "You two idiots. These two idiots." He posted the video on his Instagram page with a caption that read, "@nyoni_couture @neneleakes these MF is crazy as f**k @baronemiamibeach."
In the comments section, NeNe stressed that there's no hard feelings between her and her ex-fiance. "We are friends not enemies," she wrote. Echoing the sentiment, Nyonisela wrote back, "@neneleakes You will always be my Queen."
Hollywood Unlocked first reported that NeNe and Nyonisela had broken up after dating for more than a year. While it's unclear what led to the split, NeNe had been sharing cryptic quotes about "narcissism" lately.
On Monday, June 12, the same day the news of her split broke, she penned on her Instagram Story, "Narcissists do not have the ability to self-reflect. They cannot see anything wrong with what they do and they only see fault in your reaction."
"They believe every argument is caused by you because, to them, there was no problem with their actions until you reacted to them. They 100% believe you are the problem and they are the victim," the cryptic message continued to read. "It's mind-blowing!" In a separate Story, she added, "A NARCISSIST IS THE DEVIL."
NeNe first went public with her relationship with Nyonisela in December 2021, three months after she lost her husband Gregg Leakes to colon cancer on September 1. They got engaged in March of this year.
