'Captain America 4' Gets New Title, First Official Set Photo Includes Major Spoiler

First making its way out via Anthony Mackie's Instagram page, the picture captures the 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' actor's interaction with Harrison Ford, who is playing President Thadues 'Thunderbolt' Ross, on the set.

AceShowbiz - The upcoming "Captain America" movie has received a boost of courage. Marvel has announced a new title for the fourth installment of the superhero film franchise, renaming it "Captain America: Brave New World" after it's initially titled "Captain America: New World Order".

"Captain America: Brave New World In theaters May 3, 2024," Marvel Studios simply announced the new title on Instagram. It came with the first official set photo of the movie, which was originally posted on Anthony Mackie's social media page.

The image potentially dropped a major spoiler as it captured the Sam Wilson depicter's interaction with Harrison Ford on the set. In the picture, the "Star Wars" actor was seated under a production tent by the video monitors.

Upon a closer look, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 80-year-old was wearing black pants that have been tattered around the legs. This led to a speculation that the movie will see Ford's transformation into Red Hulk.

"When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! LoL… Thanks for the on set wisdom and laughs my friend!" Mackie captioned the snap. "Can't wait to do it again…"

Ford will be portraying President Thadues "Thunderbolt" Ross in "Brave New World". There has been mounting evidence that the movie would feature Red Hulk's debut in MCU after Thunderbolt and classic Hulk villain The Leader are included in the film.

Moreover, the "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" star has made cryptic statements that suggested he's doing more than just playing a buttoned-down presidential figure. "I mean, there are tough days and easy days and fun days and all kinds of days. It's a tough schedule and, yeah, it's fun, but it's not a walk in the park," he previously told Esquire. "It's not fun, fun. It's work."

"Brave New World" is directed by Julius Onah with the script which he co-wrote with Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. Liv Tyler, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson and Shira Haas also star in the film, which marks the first installment in the "Captain America" film franchise without Chris Evans in the titular role.
