AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx is reportedly learning to walk again as he continues recovering in a rehab clinic following a "medical complication" back in April. The 55-year-old is said to be undergoing intense physiotherapy in one of the top physical rehab centers in the country after his hospitalization.
According to Radar Online, a well-placed source tells them that the Oscar winner has suffered mobility struggles after his health scare nearly two months ago. "Jamie would not be at this clinic if he was not impaired in some way as a result of whatever happened to him," the source claims.
"Jamie is receiving treatment at one of the top physical rehabilitation centers in the country," the informant explains. "The clinic specializes in physical therapy programs to treat injuries or a physical condition that limits or prohibits the ability to walk or walk correctly."
"They teach people how to walk again at this particular clinic," the source further shares, before assuring that "Jamie is in the best of care at this type of clinic."
The clinic is known for specializing in stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injuries. It was previously reported that he arrived at the facility in Chicago in late April, after initially getting treatment in an Atlanta hospital, and he's "recovering well."
Meanwhile, a veteran Hollywood journalist reported that Jamie had a blood clot in his brain that left him "partially paralyzed and blind" after he was "pressured" to get COVID-19 vaccine. A.J. Benza said on "Ask Dr. Drew", "Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it."
A.J., who formerly worked as a columnist for the New York Daily News and as a host of the E! series "Mysteries and Scandals", added, "The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind." The journalist did not name the movie that allegedly required the actor to get the COVID shot, but he was in Atlanta to film "Back in Action" when he suffered a "medical complication" back in April.
A.J. went on linking the COVID vaccine mandate to Jamie's reported outburst on the set of the upcoming movie. "I am thinking, 'Is that why he blew up on the set a week before this medical emergency happened?' " the veteran journalist asked Dr. Drew Pinsky. "Is that why he fired three or four people because he had had it with these mandates?"
His friend Nick Cannon later said that the "Ray" star will personally address his health issues "when he's ready." The former "America's Got Talent" host told Extra TV earlier this month, "I believe when he's ready, he's going to address the awaiting fans in the world (about his health) the way that only he can."
