Scoring the album's sixth nonconsecutive week atop the list, it moves up from No. 3 to No. 1 with 282,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending June 1, according to Luminate.
The number marks the second-largest week of 2023 for any album after Morgan Wallen's "One Thing at a Time". Of the "Midnights" number, album sales comprise 196,000. SEA units comprise 80,000, equaling 107.6 million on-demand official streams of the set's songs. Meanwhile, TEA units comprise 6,000.
With "Midnights" reclaiming the top position, it halts the chart-topping run of "One Thing at a Time". The album falls to No. 2 with 126,000 equivalent album units after spending its first 12 weeks atop the tally.
At No. 3 is Lil Durk's "Almost Healed", which bows at the position after earning 125,000 equivalent album units. SZA's former leader "SOS" follows behind, descending to No. 4 from No. 2 with 5,000 equivalent album units earned.
Morgan's "Dangerous: The Double Album" dips from No. 4 to No. 5 with 48,000 units, while Taylor's "Lover" stays steady at No. 6 with 38,000 units. As for Luke Combs' "Gettin' Old", it ascends one rung to No. 7 with 33,000 units.
Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" soars one spot to No. 8 after earning nearly 33,000 equivalent album units. Also moving up this week is Zach Bryan's "American Heartbreak" as it bumps from No. 10 to No. 9 with 31,000 equivalent album units. Rounding out the Top 10 is Bailey Zimmerman's "Religiously. The Album." that jumps back to the Top 10 from No. 11 with 30,000 units earned.
