As he opens up about moving on from his band Migos era, the 'Ric Flair Drip' rapper gets emotional talking about how the passing of his late bandmate has affected him.

AceShowbiz - Offset's actual relation to Quavo and Takeoff is being cleared up. While many believed for years that the three members of Migos are relatives, the "Ric Flair Drip" rapper is now revealed to not be biologically related to the "Strip That Down" rapper and the "Last Memory" late rapper.

Featured in a new cover story for Variety, the 31-year-old was unraveled to be a classmate of Quavo. In the article published on Wednesday, May 24, the one-third of Migos was noted to have hung out with Quavo and Takeoff when he was in sixth grade.

While Offset was often referred to as Quavo's cousin, it was clarified in the feature article that the two are not blood related. Though so, Quavo was confirmed to be Takeoff's uncle with only a three-year age gap.

In the story, Offset also got candid about how difficult it was for him to talk about Takeoff's tragic passing. He bluntly confessed, "It's hard for me to talk about s**t right now. I've never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man."

"Talking about all this s**t is hard. That's why I don't, to be honest. That s**t hurts," he went on to admit. "Like, it's gonna put me in a mood, and I don't want to get in that mood. Some things I don't never tell nobody. He's not here. That s**t feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it's fake. And I don't say nothing to nobody about it."

Bandmates aside, Offset also dived deep into his marriage to Cardi B. "She always got my back, right or wrong," he gushed. "We both are on the same mission to make each other better. Social is her strong point, so I listen to her social advice."

"And me, it's the music, but I play behind the scenes; it's my wife so I want to make sure she win. We are a great team. We're a powerhouse at this point - icon status," he added. "We believe in God. We believe in family. We're always going to keep winning."
