Martha Stewart Gets 'Beautiful Ring' From Mystery Man for Nailing Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover

After making waves for being the magazine's oldest cover, the lifestyle guru stresses that being involved in a romantic relationship is not her priority at the moment.

AceShowbiz - Martha Stewart has reaped the benefit of being the cover model for Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit issue. After making headlines for nailing the coveted gig, the lifestyle guru revealed that she has been given a "beautiful ring" from a man whose identity is yet to be disclosed.

On Wednesday, May 17, the 81-year-old was celebrating her success as one of 2023 SI's cover star and was asked whether more dating offers came her way. To Extra, she spilled, "That's to be seen." Still, she was quick to add, "I did get a ring… a beautiful ring of a nail wrapped around my finger and he said, 'You nailed it.' "

Elsewhere in the chat, Martha weighed in on the importance of her being SI Swimsuit issue's oldest model. "It is breaking barriers and also encouraging other women to just rethink what they're doing," she pointed out. "I think that is really going to help a lot, and it's also: you can look good at any age, you can feel good at any age, you should live well at any age. I think about living successfully, not aging well."

The former host of "The Martha Stewart Show" later attended the Sports Illustrated's party in New York City. At the event taking place on Thursday, May 18, she spoke to ET about admirers approaching her after her cover gig. She revealed, "I've gotten a few inquiries. Just a couple."

Though so, Martha stressed that being involved in a romantic relationship is not her priority. Claiming she is "still working really hard," she explained, "You have to make time for certain things. My garden is very important." She additionally noted that she is currently focusing on her grandchildren. "It's the best. I have two amazing grandchildren," she gushed.

On her being the oldest cover model for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, Martha has previously shared her thoughts on "Today" show. Speaking to hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on May 15, she said, "That was kind of a request that I've never had before. To be on the cover at my age was a challenge. And I think I met the challenge."
