AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian is getting real in the upcoming season of "The Kardashians". Unveiled during Khloe Kardashian's appearance on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, May 16, a new teaser for the new season sees Kourtney branding her famous family "superficial."

"We're all so good at like, lifting each other up when we're like, in a crisis," Kourtney tells Khloe in the footage. "But in like, almost like a superficial way. Like, I don't think we know how to like, be there for each other on like, a deeper level."

When Khloe looks shocked by the claims, Kourtney asks, "Do you?" To that, the Good American founder replies, "I think I do."

Khloe expresses her disagreement with Kourtney's observation in a confessional. "When there's something pretty traumatic or devastating in the family, I feel like we're all by that person's side," she says.

Another teaser, meanwhile, sees Kim saying in voiceover, "I don't want to fight with family. Bottom line." Kourtney is later heard claiming that "there's no boundaries" and "there's no respect." As for Kylie Jenner, she seemingly doesn't want to take sides as she "sees both sides."

Kendall Jenner wants the fighting to end as she says, "As sisters, we have to uplift each other." The teaser later sees momager Kris Jenner shedding tears with Khloe asking, "How did we get here?"

Kim also offered more updates about the drama surrounding her family during her appearance on "Today". "We've been there before and we'll always be OK," the SKIMS mogul assured on Tuesday.

She went on to say, "We're always family, that's how we were raised. But I'm also proud that everyone's really vulnerable, because I'm sure so many other families have gone through similar things."

Kim additionally shared that filming the third season of "The Kardashian" wasn't easy for her. "Out of filming 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' or 'The Kardashians', this season was probably my most emotional and frustrating internally, with family, that I haven't really seen or experienced before," she revealed.

Despite the frustration, Kim explained that her family prioritized being an open book for viewers. The 42-year-old mom of four noted, "When we signed up for this, we wanted to always be super open and honest. There's obviously different seasons where some people feel like they just have some boundaries and want to protect some things, and then other people really want to open up and share way more."

The forthcoming season 3 of "The Kardashians" is expected to highlight the friction between Kourtney and Kim Kardashian over the former's wedding to Travis Barker in Italy back in May 2022. Kourtney previously accused Kim of using her wedding "as a business opportunity."

Season 3 of "The Kardashians" is set to premiere on May 25 on Hulu.
