The new collaboration appears on Durkio's upcoming album 'Almost Healed', which was initially set to be released on Friday, May 12 but will not land on DSPs until May 26.

AceShowbiz - Lil Durk has given J. Cole his flowers. When speaking on their collaboration "All My Life", the "Laugh Now or Cry Later" hitmaker revealed that he feels J. Cole "smoked" him on the song.

"He smoked my a** on that one, for one - barely," the 30-year-old said when asked about his experience working with the German-born artist. "That barely happens. But shout out to J. Cole, shout out to [Dr.] Luke, we made it happen."

The song arrived on Friday, May 12 along with its music video. The visuals itself shows Durkio and J. Cole trading bars with a bunch of kids in the neighborhood.

"Durkio told me he been on some positive s**t, yeah, yeah/ Lately, I just wanna show up and body some s**t, yeah, yeah," J. Cole opens the track. "Always been a lil' mathematician, lately it's cash I'm gettin'/ Got me losin' count of these bags, I've been movin' too fast."

After the choir sings the chorus, Durkio chimes in, "I decided I had to finish, but the media called me a menace/ I done sat with the mayor and politicians, I'm tryna change the image." He continues, "You can't blame my past no more, I come from the trenches/ Some said I'd never be a superstar, but I know I'm different."

"All My Life" appears on Durkio's upcoming album "Almost Healed". The project was initially set to be dropped on Friday, but it will not land on DSPs until May 26.

It was unclear why Durkio postponed the album release. However, he made the move after Soulja Boy slammed him and NBA YoungBoy a.k.a. YoungBoy Never Broke Again for wanting to unleash their records on the same day.
