AceShowbiz - Drake is among the latest musicians who have fallen victim to leakers. A slew of the Canadian superstar's unreleased songs have hit the web as his vault appeared to have been raided by Internet hacker(s).
The leaks uncover Drake's collaboration with Lil Wayne. On "Startrax", the actor-turned-rapper links up with his Young Money mentor over a Pharrell Williams' beat. It seems that the track is from the recording sessions for Wayne's "Tha Carter V" (2018).
Another track titled "Heat" is a reference track for Beyonce Knowles. The R&B diva eventually turned the song into "HEATED" which is included on her latest album "Renaissance" (2022).
There's also a previously unreleased collaboration between Drizzy and PARTYNEXTDOOR called "Bricks". Another song titled "Against the Wind" features some lines eerily similar to the 36-year-old's song "The Remorse" from his sixth album "Certified Lover Boy" (2021).
Drake fans are not the only one getting excited about the stream of leaks as some of Travis Scott (II) and Metro Boomin's tracks have also unofficially made their way out online via social media or Reddit. One of Travis leaks titled "Naked" featuring Bon Iver is said to be from his 2013 "Owl Pharaoh" era, while another song, "Poet Paradise", is believed to be a cut from his 2015 album "Rodeo".
Another song appears to be from the "Antidote" emcee's scrapped joint album with Kid Cudi, "The Scotts". The song is called "Get Off Me" and features DJ Drama. Meanwhile, "Gold Blackberry" appears to be from the rapper's most recent stash and is said to be featured on his eagerly anticipated upcoming album "UTOPIA".
Metro Boomin's leaks, meanwhile, include a collaboration with Travis Scott, 21 Savage and James Blake called "Till Further Notice". The song could be a leftover from his album "Heroes & Villain", but some fans are hoping that the 29-year-old rapper/record producer is saving it for the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" soundtrack.
