After sharing photos of herself at the 2023 sports event, the catwalk star finds herself criticized for wearing 'inappropriate' get-up and is advised to dress normally.

AceShowbiz - Irina Shayk has come under fire for her fashion choice. After seemingly going pantless when attending 2023 Formula One Miami Grand Prix, the catwalk star was plagued with backlash from online critics due to what many deemed as "inappropriate" ensemble for the race.
On Sunday, May 7, the 37-year-old supermodel took to Instagram to share photos of herself at the event. In the pictures, she could be seen wearing a white T-shirt and a black underwear under a sheer black dress. She completed her look with a black hat, a necklace, a small hand bag, a pair of long white Nike socks and a pair of black pointed-toe heels.
Responding to Irina's head-turning look, many were quick to express their disagreement over her choice of outfit in the comments section of her post. One in particular wrote, "Not the right outfit for a race [Laughing with tears emoji]." Another chimed in, "You are stunning but don't call this fashion or classy or trendy please."
The criticism did not stop there. Deeming her outfit "inappropriate," a third penned, "Dress normal for some occasions, it's so inappropriate for a race." Meanwhile, a fourth likened her race outfit to that of beach outfit, saying, "I don't get it .. why dress like u going to the beach!"
A fifth asked, "I don't understand…what is happening to our fashion? The class and elegance?" Similarly, a sixth complained, "Fashion means when beauties dress ugly." A seventh went with a more blunt response by pointing out, "Sorry but the outfit is ugly... no taste..."
It was not clear if Irina noticed the online complaints. She did, however, go with a long black and green animal-printed dress when returning to the race track the next day. The mother of one paired the dress designed by Tisci with a pair of big hoop earrings, a pair of oversized black sunglasses and a pair of black high boots.
Irina, who shares a daughter Lea with Bradley Cooper, suffered clapback for her Formula One look more than two weeks after confessing that she was once told she would not succeed in her modeling career since she was "too sexy."
In an article published on April 19 by Harper's Bazaar magazine, she said, "I've never really [cared about] people's opinions, even early in my modeling career, when they were like, 'Oh my God, she doesn't really look like a model. She's not skinny, she's too sexy, she's never going to be a model.' "
