AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian's health scare last year is one of the highlights in the first official trailer of "The Kardashians" season 3. Making its way out on Thursday, April 27, the video offers a glimpse of the aftermath of her surgery to remove a tumor on her left cheek.

In the trailer, the mother of two gives first look at the huge, vertical incision on her face without a bandage. Further pointing out the severity of her health condition at the time, the snapshot sees a doctor holding up a ruler to the freshly stitched wound to show that it measured four centimeters in length.

"This, on her face, is very concerning," Kris Jenner says in the trailer, as those closest to her express their concern about the 38-year-old's health. "I don't think I've seen you this low," Khloe's BFF Malika Haqq tells her before Kendall Jenner adds that her sister "doesn't sleep" and has "lost a lot of weight."

"Melanoma is deadly," Khloe later admits in a confessional. She adds, "This is way more serious than I anticipated it to be."

Khloe first opened up about her health scare in October 2022 after fans asked about the bandage on her face. She revealed that she had to undergo an "immediate operation" after having the lingering bump on her cheek checked out, which was later determined to be cancerous.

Later in February of this year, a fan asked her about a skin-colored bandaid visible on her jawline, "And what the heck is on your cheek." Khloe replied, "a bandage," before explaining again, "I had a tumor removed from my face but I'm totally ok. Thank you for asking."

When another fan asked about the bandage, the Good American founder added that the bandaid was actually "a scar strip." She further divulged, "I had a tumor removed from my face a few months ago so I wear this for healing and the prevention of my scar getting worse. All is great and healing wonderfully."

The new season of "The Kardashians" premieres on May 25 on Hulu.
