The Internet personality, who has the most followers on the streaming service, tweeted, 'Banned' after his account became unavailable on Monday, April 17 due to a violation of terms of service.

AceShowbiz - Here's why Kai Cenat got banned from Twitch. While the 21-year-old Internet personality's followers are still left puzzled by the platform's decision to suspend his account, the alleged reason for this situation has been revealed.

According to multiple reports, the ban was put in place following "repeated explicit simulated sexual activity in 'GTA' over the weekend." While it wasn't specified which act that landed Kai in trouble, it's said that the ban is only "temporary."

Kai, who is known for his prolific presence on Twitch, tweeted, "Banned" on Monday, April 17 after his account got terminated. As of Tuesday, a message on his page read, "This channel is temporarily unavailable due to violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

Following the ban, Nicki Minaj spoke up in defense of the streamer. "Why would they do that? Like why would they do that?" she said during a recent Q&A with fans when someone asked her about Kai's situation.

The Trinidadian-born star added, "Let the boy live. Let the boy rock. Like stop..!" She went on saying that she's willing to dress up "cute" and appear in his stream to back up Kai. "Alright, I'ma get cute. I'ma dress up nice and cute and I'ma go on live for him and speak with him if that's cool with him," said the "Anaconda" hitmaker. "First, let me reach out to him 'cus I really like him. I really like him a lot."

Kai broke Twitch's all time subscription record in late February. He had more than 300,000 subs and surpassed Ludwig and Ninja. Following word of the record's smashing, Drake urged the streaming service to pay Kai $50 million to further motivate him, but Twitch has refused the New York City native's request for a contract.
