According to words on the Internet, the 'Danny Glover' emcee gains temporary release after spending nearly a year in jail to attend his older sister's funeral.

AceShowbiz - After spending nearly a year behind bars while awaiting trial in his ongoing RICO case, Young Thug has apparently been released from jail, albeit temporarily. According to reports, the YSL Records founder was let out of jail following his sister Angela Grier's death.

The words first spread through social media that Thugger gained a temporary release to attend his late sister's funeral with police escorts. A Twitter user posted, "They let lil Jeff come see his sister."

A fan was feeling happy for the 31-year-old, reacting to the news, "Awwww I was hoping they would." The person who posted the initial tweet then added that the rapper was wearing "a suit" and "Air Force ones" to the funeral.

Angela was laid to rest over the weekend. In a video which has circulated online, family and friends who gathered to send her to her final resting place all wore something pink, such as suits, headbands and flowers. Thug, however, was not seen among the crowd in the clip.

Thug's team has not confirmed his temporary release and alleged appearance at his sister's funeral. He also has not addressed the news of his sister Angela's passing.

The sad news of Angela's death came from her own family. On Saturday, March 25, Dolly White, another of Thug's sisters, shared on Instagram a photo of her late sister posing on the sidewalk. She was flashing a smile in the image, with the date February 28, seemingly to indicate when the picture was taken, written below the snap.

Dolly simply captioned it with several broken heart emojis and a crying emoji. She didn't reveal the cause of death, but the comments section was soon flooded with messages of condolences from celebrities and fans.

Metro Boomin wrote, "Here always my love." London on da Track penned, "Love u sis." Another musician, Be El Be, chimed in, "Saddened by the news sis. I'm praying and praying hard. I love each and every one of y'all. Always made me feel like family. Angela was the Big sis. Always kind and worked hard."
