AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion has ended her social media hiatus. The "Hot Girl Summer" femcee has finally returned to Instagram three months after she scored a victory in Tory Lanez's shooting trial.
On Monday, March 13, the Houston hottie uploaded a series of stunning new photos from her time at the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty. In the sultry snapshots, she could be seen showcasing her curves and her new hairstyle.
The Houston hottie attended the star-studded event wearing a black body-hugging mermaid dress. The gown also featured some fishnet details around her chest that exposed her ample cleavage. For the event, she wore her dark hair in a big coily style.
The post, her first in almost four months, arrived after Tory was found guilty in the felony assault trial related to the July 2020 shooting. Following eight days of trial, nearly two days of closing arguments and a day of deliberations, a grand jury found the "Say It" rapper guilty of all three charges levied against him this past December.
The three counts were felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a concealed and unregistered firearm as well as discharging a firearm with gross negligence. The Canadian rapper faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison as well as subsequent deportation to his hometown. However, his sentencing has been delayed in order to give his legal team more time for a new trial.
Megan herself has laid relatively low in wake of the Tory trial but was seen making her first public appearance last month celebrating Valentine's Day with her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine before attending a surprise party for her 28th birthday on February 15.
Along with returning to the public eye, Megan has plans to return to the stage later this month. The Grammy Award-winning raptress is set to headline the AT&T Block Party as part of the 2023 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. Slated to take place in her hometown of Houston, the three-day weekend will begin March 31 during NCAA Men's Final Four and continue until April 2.
