AceShowbiz - Mod Sun seemingly takes his split from Avril Lavigne harder than she does. The singer/rapper, who has been "broken" after she called off their engagement, is reportedly blindsided by her new romance with Tyga.
Sources close to the 35-year-old musician tell TMZ that he has been left beaten up since his split from Avril, which was reportedly far from a mutual decision. As if being blindsided by her abrupt decision to call it quits wasn't enough, he feels absolutely devastated that she has quickly moved on with Tyga.
Avril and Tyga recently confirmed their relationship as they publicly kissed in Paris. Mod reportedly found pictures of the new couple triggering. He also feels that Avril and her new beau making out in the city, where he proposed to her almost a year ago, was a huge slap in the face or even vengeful toward him, according to the sources.
Mod believes he did nothing wrong, which is why he thinks Avril's action is not something he warrants for. While sources close to Avril previously informed they had been "off and on" for months and it just wasn't working, Mod sources claim they were together without interruption and living together.
Nevertheless, a rep for Mod confirmed they had broken up after Avril was spotted hugging Tyga following a dinner date in Los Angeles in February. "In 1 week my entire life completely changed. I just know there's a plan for it all. I'll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken," he spoke out on Instagram in the wake of the split.
Meanwhile, Avril and Tyga have been parading their romance in Paris. They were spotted locking lips at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer Party on Monday, March 6 during Paris Fashion Week. Later, the Compton rapper made their relationship Instagram official by posting first pictures of him and his girlfriend together on Instagram.
