AceShowbiz - Ice Spice is apparently taking her side amid the online drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin). While the "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" hitmaker didn't publicly announce her take on the supposed feud, she made it clear that she's supporting Selena.
On Thursday, March 2, Popfaction pointed out that the up-and-coming rapper followed the "Only Murders in the Building" actress on Instagram. As if that's not enough, the Bronx star had clicked the unfollow button on Hailey's page.
The revelation earned mixed responses from Internet users. "ice spice is really that girl," one fan praised Ice Spice. Echoing the sentiment, another said, "Queens supporting queens," while someone else added, "See this is why I love her fr lmao."
"lmfoaofoaodoaofaoao OKAY SUDDENLY IM ICE SPICES BIGGEST FAN," one other raved. One person also dubbed Ice Spice's move "the correct choice."
However, some others didn't think it would mean much for Hailey. "Like this is the end of the world she unfollowed baby hails, like who is Ice Spice??" one person said. Criticizing Selena's fans, a user wrote, "Selenators are so jobless that they keep track of anyone who's unfollowing Hailey."
Amid the drama, Hailey appeared to ignore it as she jetted off to Cabo San Lucas for a tropical getaway with her girl pals. She also celebrated her husband Justin Bieber's 29th birthday by posting PDA-filled pictures of them together.
As for Selena, the former Disney star announced her hiatus from social media as she told her fans, "I'm gonna be taking a second from social media cause this is a little silly and I'm 30. I'm too old for this."
She continued, "But I love you so much and I'll see you guys sooner than later." She also hinted at needing a downtime as saying, "I'm just gonna take a break from everything."
