The Memphis star's former bodyguard launches into social media rant as he reveals that the 'Tomorrow' hitmaker fired him for not beating up the culprit.

AceShowbiz - GloRilla allegedly let go his bodyguard over the way he handled the water bottle fiasco in Oakland, California. On Thursday, March 2, her former bodyguard revealed on his social media account that the "Tomorrow" hitmaker fired him for not beating up the culprit.

In his video rant, the former bodyguard recalled what happened at the Oakland club, where an angry fan threw a water bottle at Glo because she didn't actually perform that night despite what the club claimed. According to the man, he did his job during the chaos, which was protecting Glo and making sure that she got out of there safely.

However, he claimed that the Memphis star ordered him to back to the venue and beat up the culprit. "I did my job, it's complete," he said during a video rant. He noted that he didn't have much reason to confront the fan because the fan didn't directly throw the water in Glo's face.

The former bodyguard also said that he didn't want to risk losing his license. He also insisted that he might be facing an assault charge if he proceeded with the petty and unwarranted retaliation.

Fans were on the man's side upon watching his rant. "Girl, he is a professional licensed security guard not Suge knight," one person criticized GloRilla in an Instagram comment. "His job was to protect her and he did that by removing her from the setting," one other added.

"Secuity is not allowed to hit anyone because if that person sues him y'all not gonna help!" another person pointed out. Someone else further blasted the "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" hitmaker as saying, "I guess this the part of her career where the fame/money starts to reveal her true colors...."

Earlier this month, a viral video featured Glo being attacked by an angry fan at an after-party at New Karibbean City. The person was seen throwing a water bottle at and spitting on the raptress as she walked out the club without performing despite being allegedly paid $30K for the gig.

The fan apparently started cursing as saying, "F**k you b***h, weak a** b***h." The CMG rapper also shouted back at the culprit. Thankfully, the Memphis star was moved to safety by a security team before things could escalate.

Following the incident, Glo denied being spat on. "Ain't no ho spit on s**t!!!! Ask dat how ha face feel doe," she tweeted at the time. Blasting the promoter, she added, "No way you think I'm performing when you paid for a hosting crazy tail self."

A source, meanwhile, confirmed that Glo was never booked to perform, but to host. Yo Gotti, who is the CEO of CMG, also reacted to the incident, laughing off the club promoter's claim. "30k to perform," he wrote alongside laughing emojis. "U must booked lil Glo NOT Big Glo #CMG."
