Jennifer McBride, who is named an accomplice in the theft of the 'Poker Face' hitmaker's French bulldogs, is suing the singer for not delivering on her promised reward after returning the dogs.

AceShowbiz - A woman charged in connection with the theft of Lady GaGa's French bulldogs has an unbelievable complaint. Jennifer McBride, who is named an accomplice in the dognapping case, is brazenly suing the singer for $500,000 reward.

In the lawsuit, McBride says the pop star, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, never delivered on her promised $500,000 after she returned the dogs. She says that the "Born This Way" hitmaker made it very clear she's pay the $500k "no questions asked" when she announced the reward back in February 2021 after her dogs Koji and Gustav were stolen from her dog walker at gunpoint.

McBride claims she returned the dogs to GaGa at the LAPD Olympic Community station on February 26, 2021, two days after they were taken. She goes on alleging that the "A Star Is Born" actress "defrauded" her "by making a promise without intent to perform."

The lawsuit goes on to claim that McBride has suffered compensatory damages, pain and suffering, mental anguish, and loss of enjoyment of life as a result of not receiving the $500,000.

The problem is, after returning the dogs, it was revealed that McBride dated the father of one of the men responsible for assaulting GaGa's dog walker Ryan Fischer. She was arrested for accessory attempted murder and pleaded no contest to one count of receiving stolen property in December 2022. She was sentenced to two years of probation.

GaGa's team has not responded to the lawsuit. Meanwhile, L.A. County Deputy District Attorney Michele Hanisee tells TMZ that McBride was more than aware the pups were stolen when she returned them in hopes of obtaining the reward, and had known the men involved in the shooting for years.

Hanisee also believes that the men involved McBride because they thought she would not have been suspected because she's a white woman. She points out that GaGa could even seek financial restitution from McBride with she suffered any sort of financial loss from the incident.
