The Stefan Salvatore depicter on 'The Vampire Diaries' finally files for a divorce from his estranged wife, five months after they announced their separation.

AceShowbiz - Paul Wesley has taken a step to make his separation from her estranged wife legal. Five months after confirming his split from Ines De Ramon, the Stefan Salvatore of "The Vampire Diaries" finally filed for a divorce.

The 40-year-old submitted the divorce papers on Friday, February 17 in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the paperwork, the actor cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation. As for the division of their assets, it will be decided later on.

Paul and Ines, who tied the knot in 2019, announced their breakup in September 2022. A spokesperson for the couple told PEOPLE at the time, "The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago."

Paul is now dating Natalie Kuckenburg. In December last year, he was spotted cozying up to the model while watching a basketball game.

The new couple was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks game against the Philadelphia 76ers. They sat next to Pete Davidson and his sister Casey Davidson.

As for Ines, she sparked romance rumors with Brad Pitt as they were spotted together several times. A new report suggested that the twosome made their romance official during his recent birthday celebration.

"Brad and Ines are officially dating now," a source revealed in a new issue of Us Weekly. Noting that "they really enjoy each other's company and are having a great time in the early stages of an early relationship," the source added, "but [they] are still getting to know each other."
