The WCW Triple Crown winner earns backlash after ripping the 'Umbrella' hitmaker's halftime show during his 'CarCast' podcast, saying he 'was disgusted by it.'

AceShowbiz - Here comes another critic of Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show. Bill Goldberg, who is often known mononymously as Goldberg, has made it be known that he's not a fan of the Barbadian singer's performance at the big game.

The WWE legend shared his take on the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time on his "CarCast" podcast with Matt "The Motorator" D'Andria, days after the Super Bowl LVII. "I thought Rihanna was frickin' horrible," he said. "I was disgusted by it. That's all. Let's just say that. I thought it was horrible."

Matt then weighed in, saying, "I don't know, it just seemed kind of boring." Goldberg responded by doubling down on his comment, "That's the understatement of the year, man. I thought it was horrible."

When Matt praised Chris Stapleton's rendition of the national anthem, Goldberg hinted at why he took issue with Rih's performance as he said, "Well he didn’t grab his crotch every 15 seconds...he was good."

Many of Rihanna's fans were enraged by Goldberg's unwarranted opinion on the Grammy winner's performance. Fellow wrestler The 305 MVP was one of them, tweeting, "I've noticed that a lot of the people that find Rhianna offensive or are 'disgusted' by her performance at the SB are not at all bothered by a presidential candidate bragging about 'grabbing women by the [p***y]' or a 1st lady posing nude. Interesting..."

When someone asked if his tweet was in response to Goldberg's statement, MVP explained, "It was actually in response to the outrage I've seen in my timeline and articles. I didn't know about that specific critique until after I sent the Tweet."

Another reacted to Goldberg's comment, "Who the hell asked Goldberg about Rihanna? That's just weird." Echoing the sentiment, a third fan said, "I still fail to see the connection between Goldberg and the Superbowl halftime show. Nobody asked, Bill."

"Why is Goldberg saying anything about Rihanna's halftime performance?! Like he actually had some good taste in music. Go back under your rock. What a loser move to become 'relevant' again," another user slammed the former football player.

Some others think that the comment should've not come from Goldberg, considering his violent actions in the ring. "I find Goldberg's wrestling matches far more disturbing than anything Rihanna could ever do or say.....," one person weighed in.

Another agreed as saying, "Rihanna's halftime performance was way safer then having a match with Goldberg." Pointing out Goldberg's match they took issue with, someone else wrote, "So #BillGoldberg was offended by Rihanna's Super Bowl performance well I'm offended by what Bill Goldberg did to @BretHart and equally upset by his match at crown jewel with the Undertaker so there we're even."

In other news, it has been revealed that Rihanna spent more than $500,000 on an Arizona rental for Super Bowl. The 34-year-old star was renting a home in Paradise Valley, about 30 miles from the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, where the game went down. The crib has a price tag of $85,000/night and Rih booked it for 6 nights ahead of the game, so she paid around $510,000, according to TMZ.
