AceShowbiz - Eiza Gonzalez and Ben Simmons may have found love in each other. On Friday, February 3, the "Baby Driver" actress and the NBA star were caught on camera enjoying a date night together in New York City.
In pictures surfacing online, the 33-year-old beauty and the athlete were seen leaving the Manhattan sushi restaurant BONDS together. For the outing, the Mexican beauty sported a form-fitting black maxi dress with matching sock boots and a gray coat. Her alleged beau, meanwhile, went all black from head to toe.
Of the dinner date, a source told Page Six that they dined "with a group of friends." The source added, "They weren't alone [for the dinner], but they are very clearly together."
While Eiza and Ben have yet to confirm their relationship, the outlet reported that they have been dating for "a few months." The insider additionally told the publication, "They've been hiding and trying not to get seen [together]."
Before being linked to Ben, Eiza sparked romance rumors with Jason Momoa. The "Aquaman" actor was pictured at the premiere of Eiza's movie "Ambulance" in April 2022 and was caught liking many of her pictures on her account. Eiza also showcased her mutual feelings by liking several of his posts.
As for Ben, he famously dated Kendall Jenner on and off before calling it quits for good in May 2019. He then moved on with Maya Jama and got engaged in December 2021. However, the two called off their year-long romance in July 2022.
Of the reason for their split, an insider has elaborated that the pair were heartbroken to have to end things but just couldn't make their schedules align. A source told The New York Post, "It's been a difficult time for them. While they both care for each other so much, they truly gave it their all and realize that they just come from two different worlds. They now understand they don't have the time they thought to dedicate to this relationship."
