AceShowbiz - Newly single Tom Brady has made his first red carpet appearance since he and his ex Gisele Bundchen finalized their divorce. Taking to his social media account, the NFL star poked fun at his awkward pose at the premiere of "80 for Brady".
The seven-time Super Bowl champ looked dapper while attending the event on Tuesday night, January 31 in Los Angeles as he sported a black leather jacket, white long-sleeved T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers. He later turned to his Instagram Story to share videos from the event.
Tom looked tense at first before cracking a smile for the paps. The 45-year-old footballer, who stars in the film alongside Jane Fonda, Sally Field, Rita Moreno and Lily Tomlin, shared a video of him awkwardly posing for photos. He even threw a peace sign in their direction at one point. "What are you supposed to do with your hands?" he captioned the clip, adding a laughing with tears emoji.
Tom appeared much more comfortable when the rest of his castmates, including a starstruck Jane, posed by his side. "@80forbrady red carpet! Like a Super Bowl, but more cameras!" he wrote over the footage.
Tom's night out comes nearly four months after his divorce from Gisele was finalized. The former couple, who share son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, had been married for 13 years. The athlete's surprising choice to unretire from the NFL reportedly cost him his marriage to the 42-year-old Brazilian beauty.
Details surrounding Tom and Gisele's marriage separation seemingly will arrive soon. Words on the streets are the supermodel is set to break silence on the separation in an upcoming Vanity Fair cover story.
Page Six reported that Gisele will pose for a VF cover and talk in-depth about her divorce from the NFL star for the first time. Though a VF spokesperson said the publication does not comment on editorial rumors, one Conde Nast insider told the news site, "I could see this as a cover to celebrate Earth Month in April, as that's a subject close to Gisele's heart. But it could also be a summer cover."
