AceShowbiz - Julie Chrisley is given floor duty in prison. According to a new report, Todd Chrisley's wife, who is serving at Federal Medical Center Lexington, is responsible for keeping her cell clean, which includes sweeping and mopping every day.
Radar Online reports that the "Chrisley Knows Best" star has to wake up at 6 A.M. and tidy up her small cell before her work duties. She is also required to make her bed, sweep, mop, remove trash, ensuring that everything is clean and sanitary for official inmate counts.
That is not Julie's only responsibility. The report adds that she must also ensure that lockers, shelves and chairs in her cell are up to code. "Lockers must be neatly arranged inside and out, and all shelving must be neat and clean. Chairs are assigned to each cell, and will not be defaced or marked in any manner by the inmate," an inmate handbook reads. "Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves."
The rules additionally outline that "sexually suggestive photographs are NOT authorized for display outside of the individual locker or cabinet." The news outlet further claims that Julie must close her cell door when she's not in there.
It is said that the disgraced reality TV star has no choice because their meal rotation depends on it. "Unit meal rotation is ordinarily based on weekly sanitation ratings of each unit," the handbook continues. "The unit with the highest sanitation is called first, and the unit with the lowest rating is called last."
Upon her arrival at the Kentucky prison, Julie allegedly was responsible for immediately checking and reporting any damages in her cell. If officers find flaws during their counts, she could be financially liable.
As for her official count schedule, it's revealed that there are five counts every 24 hours. The is "expected to be standing bedside" during official counts held at 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays, and 10:00 AM, 4:00 PM, and 10:00 PM on weekends and holidays," as well as for any emergency count.
Prior to this, Todd clarified rumors about his wife's health as she was sent to inmate medical center in Kentucky in their fraud and tax evasion case. "We're not facing, to our knowledge, a death sentence. Neither one of us is dying of cancer that we know of," he said in a pre-recorded episode of "Chrisley Confession". Julie chimed in, "Right."
While Julie is serving 7 years behind bars, Todd is serving 12-year prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution Pensacola in Florida, 10 hours away from his wife.
