The 'Young, Wild and Free' hitmaker, who owns a marijuana brand Khalifa Kush, defends his cannabis use by insisting that the sacred plant has nothing to do with people's laziness.

AceShowbiz - Wiz Khalifa is publicly known as one of the cannabis icons. The "Young, Wild & Free" hitmaker has turned to his social media platform to break down whether marijuana turns him into a lazy person.
Making use of his Twitter account on Monday, December 19, the 35-year-old rapper, who owns a weed brand Khalifa Kush, addressed one of the main bugaboos of the sacred plant, making people lazy. Debunking the negative stereotype, he wrote, "Weed doesn't make you lazy your [sic] just lazy and using weed as an excuse."
Wiz's statement has since sparked debate among his followers. One person who agreed with him said, "Yup super lazy person here. I can't smoke if I have s**t to do. I have to wait until I'm able to relax or if I'm going to the gym. I wanna zone out and focus." Another replied, "True! It never makes you lazy, it works with the mind, uf u wanna get lazy, sure its gonna help u lazeout. you need it to get u active sure iys gon too, use it how you want it to help you."
Someone else, in the meantime, argued, "Nope. Weed 100% makes you lazy lol it's why they call it being 'stoned' I've never seen a stone mowing the grass sir." A different Twitter user chimed in, "100% wrong you should know better. There are some people out there who should not smoke at all. Like people with ADHD. Some ppl have adhd who don't even know it and they smoke and it makes symptoms worse. These kinds of rhetoric ruin ppls lives."
A few weeks before claiming that weed has nothing to do with people's laziness, Wiz admitted that he stopped wearing a lot of expensive jewelry. During an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, the "Black and Yellow" rapper shared, "You grow out of that s**t and you place value in other things at certain points."
"It's cool to have that mind frame as well or it's cool think that whatever little joint you have is cool too," Wiz further explained, "You don't have to have the biggest, craziest situation going on."
Wiz later elaborated on recent murders among hip-hop stars, "And with all of these f**king murders and s**t going on, it's inviting f**king energy that you don't really need. And people look at you like they get excited when they see that type of s**t and me, I'm the type of person that thinks about my safety first."
"So if I could walk into a room and not excite those people who are gonna feel like that when they see those things, I'll do you the favor because I don't want anything to happen to you, I don't want anything to me, so I'ma just calm down the situation for all of us," Wiz continued. "I'm gonna give you something not to look at."
