In a surprising twist, Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa has asserted his belief in the flat Earth theory, attributing this perspective to his extensive travel experiences.

AceShowbiz - Wiz Khalifa is a flat earther. During a recent episode of "The Joe Budden Podcast", the rapper was asked by co-host Melyssa Ford whether the Earth is round, and his response has sparked considerable attention.

"I would say no," Khalifa answered before elaborating, "I just believe that we live on a flat plane. It's only because I've travelled so much."

Khalifa attempted to clarify his stance when guest host and academic Marc Lamont Hill queried whether he had ever reached the edge of the Earth. "Nah, it's not that. I think that there's more masses than just what we see because it was one thing before and it spread out," said Wiz, referring to the historical concept of the supercontinent Pangea.

He continued, "Because when I travel, the routes that we take and how we do it, it's not possible to go up and down. You're just going straight. That's the only reason I think that."

The rapper further questioned space exploration, "I don't believe in space exploration at all. I don't believe that they explore space as much as they say that they do."

The flat Earth belief has resurged among some young Americans in recent years, fueled by a distrust in experts. Wiz Khalifa joins other public figures, such as B.o.B and Kyrie Irving. Even NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal flirted with this belief, and it cost him a $20 million endorsement deal.

Following Wiz Khalifa' remarks on flat Earth, fans humorously noted the irony of him using a round Earth on the cover of his album "Kush + Orange Juice 2".
