According to the Bravo personality, who is accused of fraud, she can't attend the special episode 'under legal advice,' though she's not particularly happy with that.

AceShowbiz - Fans of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" will not be seeing Jen Shah in the upcoming season 3 reunion. According to Jen, she can't attend the special episode "under legal advice," though she's not particularly happy with that.

On Friday, December 16, the Bravo star revealed in an Instagram post that the decision had been reached after discussing with Bravo the topics she would and would not be able to touch upon during filming of the reunion.

"I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing,” she explained, adding that the network "found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this 'storyline.' " She continued, "The expectation has no regard for me or my family's well-being. So under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion."

The 49-year-old went on to share that she needs to "focus on the most important thing" in her life right now, which is her "family." She shares two sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar with husband Sharrieff.

Meanwhile, sources familiar with the situation spilled to Page Six that Jen "was invited" to this year's reunion but "declined under the advice of her lawyers."

Back in September, the reality TV star claimed that she was "informed" by Bravo that she was "not invited" to the reunion. "I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members," she explained. However, she shared that she "out of nowhere" received an invitation on November 29, making her feel "elated" because she's able to "have a voice" during the filming.

Jen's friend and co-star Meredith Marks previously supported the embattled star to join others in the reunion. "I certainly hope that Jen has the chance to have a voice," Marks explained at the "Virtual Reali-tea" podcast live taping earlier this month.

"Obviously as the season progresses and transpires, she's hearing things that she didn't know about. That's what happens to all of us. And so for her to not have a chance to address that, to me, would be very sad," she continued.

Jen, who is accused of fraud, is set to learn her fate on January 6, 2023. She could face up to 14 years behind bars and may pay up to $9.5 million in restitution for the crimes.
