AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian was dragged online after she attempted to read a customized fairytale book. In a video posted on her Instagram Stories, Kim appeared to try showing off the personalized story to promote Kourtney Kardashian's new Lemme sleep-aiding gummies.

"Look at this book for Lemme," she said in the Thursday, December 8 clip, revealing the bejeweled book. The SKIMS founder then began to read aloud, though she visibly stumbled over the passages.

On the first page, Kim struggled with a sentence that read, "At the Princess's birth celebration, three good fairies came to bestow gifts upon the Princess: Kylie, Kourtney, and Kendall." When the mom of four got about halfway through the sentence, she paused at the word "came." She raised her voice before trying to correct herself while reading the word "bestow."

Upon watching the clip, Internet users immediately clowned Kim over her reading skills. One person wrote, "It was honestly brutal to her read this out loud. She's a native English speaker. Why was this so difficult?" One other said, "I love how she emphasized 'CAME' only to stumble over 'to'."

Another user, meanwhile, found Kim's voice itself annoying. "Kim's voice is AWFUL. That vocal fry is nails on a chalkboard. Her voice honestly drips with narcissistic tendencies," the person snarked.

Thankfully, Kim herself appeared to be less excited to keep reading the story book after she found out that she was the villain of the story. The book portrayed the SKKN founder as Kimeficent, "the feared but glamorous witch from the Forbidden mountain." She skipped through pages to reveal a bottle of gummies that was put at the back of the book.

Apparently, that wasn't the only time Kourtney shaded Kim on the book. At the end of the story, the Poosh founder's fairytale book read, "As for Kimeficient, all she needed was a Lemme Chill gummy and she let the whole invite fiasco go."
