AceShowbiz - While it's rather expected that Drake would spoil his son Adonis, the rapper apparently knows how to be a stern father as well. The Canadian superstar showed that he got the skill to discipline his only child during their latest basketball game date.
On Wednesday, December 7, Drizzy took his five-year-old son to the Raptors vs. Lakers game in Toronto. The two sat courtside at Scotiabank Arena and their sweet interaction was captured on camera.
In a clip which has gone viral, Adonis was already enjoying a pack of Skittles when an arena worker was seen coming up behind the father-son duo. She offered the boy a new pack of candy which he happily took.
Subsequently, the woman showed Adonis a couple more bags and he seemed interested as well. But before the five-year-old could reach out for more sweets, his dad stepped in and seemingly tried to explain to his little twin that he could only indulge in one or the other.
Drake eventually politely turned down the arena worker's offer for more candies for his son. He even took the opened pack from Adonis' hand and opened a new one to grab a few for his son, seemingly to stop him from having too many candies.
Seeing the two's cute interaction, fans couldn't help gushing over how Drake seems to play his role as a father very well. "Jeez look at Drake being a responsible dad," one fan reacted to the video. Another exclaimed, "Aww Drake is a good dad."
"Strict dad lol," a third Twitter user commented. Someone else remarked, "he's really a dad adonis wanted all the candy and he was not gonna deal w the sugar rush this late hdjdjjdd." A fellow parent could relate to the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker as saying, "Hate it when peopl KEEP trying to force junk food on my kid.. I really ain't want him to have the first bag of candy but now you got me looking mean."
