AceShowbiz - Mariah The Scientist has clapped back at an Internet troll who tried to stir up some drama between her and Young Thug's ex Karlae. The R&B artist denied she was alluding to her relationship with the incarcerated rapper and his former girlfriend on her cryptic tweet.

On Friday, December 2, the 25-year-old beauty tweeted about replacing an ex with "someone more popular or more… 'aesthetically pleasing.' " She penned, "Imagine fronting on someone who showed u love from the start for someone more popular or more… 'aesthetically pleasing.' "

Seeing this, a user asked Mariah if she was taking a subliminal shot at herself with the tweet. "Young Thug left Karlae to be with you so you're basically subbing yourself ???" the person wrote.

Mariah then fired back at the troll, though she kept it classy. "What do y'all be talking about?" she penned. Stressing that she has no problem with Karlae, she added, "When I met this I was less popular than his ex... She always been attractive/aesthetically pleasing. Why u trying to equate moving on to fronting on somebody? Sick in the head."

"Just chill I'm good..," she additionally wrote.

Despite Mariah's sweet words about her, Karlae seemingly still took offense with the singer's initial tweet. Slamming the Atlanta native, Karlae commented on The Shade Room's post, "Her whole 'Sale' Pitch to him has been about her having more motion, her own money, and being the better option....girl you went on a whole rant about how you iced him out for Xmas and it's sucks for me cause I'm dependent...please stop acting like this shoe don't fit...and leave me out of this thanks ;)"

Mariah has not responded to Karlae's claims. She recently defended her man against allegations that he played both her and Karlae. "crazy how yall letting that man play yall both from JAIL," one individual tweeted in September, to which the "Spread Thin" songstress responded, "U sure got a lot of intel on my life to be a fan who don't even follow me."
