EST Gee revealed that one of his eyes is going blind. However, some fans were left baffled because the "5500 Degrees" rapper asked them for advice instead of seeing the doctor to get treatment.
Making use of Instagram Story on Friday, November 25, the emcee gave fans a closer look at his eye. On top of the clip, he wrote, "How can I stop this grey part from spreading I use to could see a lil bit but its getting worse I'm starting to see less."
After The Neighborhood Talk re-shared the clip on Instagram, a number of online users sent out hilarious replies. "Go to an optometrist wtf can we do," one person argued, while another jokingly commented, "Hold on let me go to optometry school real quick and I'll tell you."
A third added, "Boy if you don't take yourself to the ophthalmologist!!! And get that cataract removed before you lose sight……… Social media can't help you." Someone else then chimed in, "It's a cataract! Quick surgery process that will peel that layer off the pupil and correct your vision. Go see and ophthalmologists."
That aside, EST Gee had something to celebrate recently after he dropped his debut solo album, "I Never Felt Nun". Consisting of 21 tracks, the project stole the No.1 spot on Billboard's Top Rap Albums Chart and peaked at No.8 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. It marks the rap star's second top 10-charting album on the latter list.
For the album, EST Gee enlisted some help from the likes of Jack Harlow ("Backstage Passes"), Future ("Shoot It Myself"), Bryson Tiller ("Sabotage"), as well as Jeezy (Young Jeezy) ("The Realest"). Machine Gun Kelly also lends his vocals on "Death Around the Corner".
