Internet users troll the 'Bad Romance' singer after she is caught making a fake Instagram Boomerang video to promote the Black Friday sale for her Haus Labs cosmetics brand.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa seemingly needs to up her Instagram game. The "Shallow" singer was hilariously called out by Gen Z for making a fake Instagram Boomerang video to promote the Black Friday sale for her Haus Labs cosmetics brand.

In an Instagram Story post on Tuesday, November 22, the 36-year-old actress/singer appeared to try to recreate a Boomerang video, a short clip that plays on a loop. The video featured the "A Star Is Born" actress flaunting a yellow tube of makeup as she tucked her hair behind her ear.

Fans, however, noticed that the pop star didn't actually use the Boomerang effect as the repeated movements didn't match up and the video didn't feature the Boomerang effect icon. Rather unsurprisingly, Internet users were quick to repost the clip and troll GaGa over it.

"not her making a fake boomerang," one fan tweeted, adding, "i wonder if she's being her genius campy self or if she actually thinks that's what people do when they post boomerangs." Another fan joked, "someone said she put the BOOMER in Boomerang & I've been screaming ever since."

A third user tweeted, "lady gaga, the woman who knows technology well enough to create ultra-sonic EDM sounds and songs + produce full on albums and make interludes like the ones at chromatica ball. but also the woman who doesn't know technology well enough to do a boomerang." Another comment read, "grandma so old can't even use technology properly."

Some others, meanwhile, believed that it was part of the campaign tactics. "She's actually a genius. Im sure she is sure people will repost the clip everywhere to mock her, but in both of those clips she's selling a product… and you're giving her free exposure everywhere," one fan opined. "I hadn't even seen these products on her insta and now thanks to Twitter I have."

Someone else even urged people to "start doing this" instead. "Boomerang function is dumb but this... I love this...," the person tweeted.
