Despite facing a hard time after a news outlet shared photos of her looking 'unrecognizable' back in 2020, the singer manages to embrace her body and even poses nude for her 'Couple Goals' music video.

AceShowbiz - It is not easy for Aubrey O'Day to deal with constant criticism about her appearance. In a new interview, the former Danity Kane member said she will spend the "rest of [her] life" healing from same over her "fat" photos.

When speaking to E! News, the 38-year-old reflected on a 2020 Daily Mail article that featured "unrecognizable" pictures of her. The images led online critics to accuse her of Photoshopping images of herself to look slimmer.

"It was my downfall day," Aubrey recalled. "When it came time to laugh at me, everybody was laughing."

"My body's been on the chopping block since I was 17. Those were not the first fat photos," she went on sharing. "There's been a lot of fat photos of Aubrey and I wasn't even fat. I'll spend the rest of my life trying to heal with how many inaccurate things have been told about me."

Luckily, Aubrey managed to embrace her body. She even posed nude for her "Couple Goals" music video. "I felt so good," she said of the filming process. "I felt so comfortable in my body."

Aubrey shared the uncensored version of the visuals on her OnlyFans account. "It's offering my body up to belong to people again," she explained. Noting that she now has a "different perspective" on the public dialogue about her appearance, she added, "I love the reclaiming of it."

Of how she enjoys her life at this moment, Aubrey revealed, "I am in Bali. I am here to heal. I am not bringing a camera and desecrating this place as a Photoshop moment for Instagram." She continued, "I will give you the photo when I'm back."
