Following the viral footage of the 'As It Was' singer getting hit in the eye during a concert at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the Skittles brand itself turns to social media to address the matter.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles may need to see an ophthalmologist for his own sake. The "As It Was" singer, who is often an easy target for fans to throw objects while he's on stage, looks in pain while clutching his left eye after being hit with skittle during his latest "Love on Tour" show in Los Angeles.

In footage that has since gone viral on social media, the former One Direction member could be seen waving to the crowd at the Kia Forum as he finished his performance. Suddenly, he was hit in the eye with what appeared to be an orange Skittle.

As the candy hit Harry in the eye, he immediately bent down and clutched his eye, seemingly out of pain. The 28-year-old crooner quickly bounced back, however, bowing and blowing kisses while he thanked the audience before performing the set's final song, "Kiwi".

According to another video shared to social media, Harry was later seen driving himself out of the venue in a black Range Rover while rubbing his eye. Following the show, Harry apparently tuned into his percussionist Pauli Lovejoy's Instagram Live session and commented, "See you tomorrow AVEC eye patch." Avec translates to "with" in French.

On Tuesday, November 15, the Skittles brand itself decided to weigh in on the matter in a tweet. "Didn't think I needed to say this: Please don't throw Skittles," read a post from its official account. A Twitter user then replied, "public enemy #1," to which the company quipped, "I had nothing to do with that incident."

Skittles tweeted after Harry Styles was hit in the eye with a Skittle.

This wasn't the first time fans threw things at him onstage. Last week, a fan at his Chicago show threw what appeared to be a bottle at the "Don't Worry Darling" actor, hitting him right in the very sensitive area.

In the footage capturing the incident, Harry immediately showed signs of pain and discomfort. He bent over his body and winced before saying into the microphone, "Now that's unfortunate."

Later, Harry was seen shaking both of his legs. "Okay, shake it off," he told the audience, who later erupted in cheer as he was referring to his former fling Taylor Swift's song "Shake It Off". The heartthrob also jumped up and down, seemingly trying to rid any pain away.

In August, fans at his "Love on Tour" stop in New York City turned him into a chicken nugget target, tossing food at him on stage. Upon retrieving the food, he rhetorically asked, "Is that a chicken nugget?"
